It has been too long since we have had a chocolate thread. So I'm
officially starting one. Since all we do is discuss religion around here
let's reform our chocolate church.
I've just opened a chocolate orange, and I'm enjoying it with a sipper
of mango port (regional specialty). Would any one like a cyber piece?

There is a winery up the hill from Cairns at a place called Mareeba.
It is called 'The Golden Drop Winery'. They make wine from mangoes and
also port. The port is very smooth. Whenever I taste mango wine I always
start craving cheese though.
I just checked the gift bag the port came in and they have a website
www.goldendrop.com.au I don't know if they do mail order, we buy it in
person.
Does any one know if it is ok to post and receive alcohol through the
mail? I'd like to try that apple jack stuff.

From the official guide book:
"Welcome to Mango!!! Mango (or Mananarango) is one of the most beautiful
cities in The Glorious People's Republic of Banania. It has a great bay
with nice views of the Isla Passionata and the Orang Islands, home of
famous library. The city is maybe not so delightful as Kiwi or Tomatoa, but
it deserves a place among the destinations a tourist should not miss in
GPRB.
Many tourist guides say this is a polluted, violent and dangerous city.
Maybe it is so, but this shouldn't discourage anyone from visiting it. Sure
you have to be careful here, but don't panic it's not so unsafe.
There are many fine hotel overlook the sun-soaked beach with all the sand.
Also many fruit cocktail bars stretch all around the town dawn until the
late. Drink up, and have cheer!"

That almost falls into the sin of leaving a piece of chocolate out long
enough for it to become less-than-edible (there is no such thing as
truly un-eatable chocolate, after all!)

My attitude to candy is more akin to that of Lu-Tze than that of Susan
Sto Helit. Whether this disqualifies me as an afper I do not know.
Now, should you bait a trap with salt liqourice...

For the benefit of those residing in civilised countries. It is common in
the UK to sell solidified brown coloured sugary milk labelled as
chocolate. I have no idea what the stuff is actually intended for, but
many people appear to eat it.

I am not much of a hot chocolate drinker, but I do find that some peppermint
